MMI Strategy and Implementation
MMI recommended using US Family Health Plan’s 25th anniversary as the organization’s key event and contact focus for 2006, as well as an opportunity to host an impressive and memorable event commensurate with its level of quality in care and service. The event would serve as the ideal vehicle to convey the image of a premium health plan option for target audience members (eligible participants). MMI coordinated and managed all aspects of the event, including:

  • Developing the event theme
  • Creating and distributing a save-the-date mailer, an event invitation and signage
  • Researching and securing the event venue
  • Updating and managing the invitation list and RSVPs, as well as conducting followups
  • Coordinating and securing entertainment
  • Creating a video presentation
  • Selecting and overseeing the catering
  • Handling décor
  • Coordinating, producing and managing event mementos

Event Results
The US Family Health Plan 25th Anniversary event was extremely successful. Using the Museum of the American Indian as the venue helped to create an unforgettable event. Seventy-five percent of those invited attended the event, which yielded great awareness for the US Family Health Plan. Though the celebration took place more than a year ago, US Family Health Plan still receives comments on the memorable event.
