St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System presents Service Awards to formally recognize the amount of time employees dedicate to the organization. St. Luke’s also distinguishes outstanding individuals with Awards of Excellence for the level of care, service and quality they provide to patients. This was the first time in St. Luke’s history that an event of this magnitude had been organized on such an elaborate scale. Based on the goals of the event, MMI incorporated stars into all creative aspects of the event. MMI created customized pieces for this star-studded occasion, including a beautifully designed gate-fold program positioned upright at each table setting. MMI coordinated and managed the majority of the elements for the event including:

  • Developing a theme
  • Updating and managing the invitation list and RSVPs
  • Organizing and managing all registration aspects on event day
  • Researching all floral arrangements
  • Concepting, developing and executing all lobby and ballroom décor and logistics
  • Coordinating A/V equipment
  • Multimedia researching, coordinating and and developing
  • Coordinating background music entertainment
  • Arranging all photography and video services

Event Results

The St. Luke’s Awards Gala 2008 was a huge success with record attendance of nearly 700 people. The event, which was well received by the attendees and the CEO, culminated with instant feedback from the employees and their guests, who expressed their appreciation and excitement.  Several indicated the event was very organized and well orchestrated in all aspects. Following the event, St. Luke’s posted numerous photos internally for employee viewing as a reminder of a magical evening shared by everyone.
